Does your degree program have some issues in need of fixing? Internships should be developed and the curriculum needs some correcting? Become a student representative and make a difference in these issues!
METKA is looking for student representatives for the Advisory Councils of the degree programs and for the Master Forum for the 2018. As a student representative, you can influence the content of your studies, discuss and network with the working life representatives, and develop the problem areas of the degree programs.
Students are represented in many of the Metropolia Institutions and can bring up the students’ point of view and participate in developing Metropolia. To become a student representative does not require extensive prior knowledge, but an eager mind and desire to learn new things! The working language of these organs is Finnish.

Degree Program Advisory Councils:
Each degree program has a joint Advisory Council on it´s own or with other degree programs. The Advisory Councils are composed of representatives of staff, students and working life. The Advisory Councils deals with issues related to the degree program, such as curriculum reform or study modules. The Advisory Councils meet a few times during the year.
Master Forum is a place for Metropolia’s management, students and staff to discuss topical and important issues. The forum is a good way for students to get information and to convey their views about important issues. The forum has meetings every few weeks.
