Degree Program’s Advisory Councils

Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences Advisory Councils consist of staff, students and working life representatives. The goal of the councils is to create a communication network between the working life and the school. The councils deal with issues related to developing the degree programmes.

A student is eligible to apply as a student representative to the council that represents the degree programme student studies in. If the council represents more than one degree programme then all the students under those programmes are eligible. In these situations it is mentioned in the bulletin about open positions by METKA.

The working language of the councils is mainly Finnish so fluent Finnish skills is a requirement.
