Wabu does not end! After a long wait, METKA’s (Two) Weeks of Wappu arrives to tune up the students to the beginning of spring, bringing joy and new experiences!

Week of Wappu has something for everyone: You’ll get the opportunity to test out your abilities, to raise your wellness and for everyone who lives in wabu-land you’ll get the chance to prove your skills and durability.

Collect at least six (6) different stamps from events during (Two) Weeks of Wappu and return your pass to METKA either on Wappuaatto (May Day Eve 30.4.) or at Kaivarin vappu (1.5.) in Kaivopuisto and you will receive a special WappuGuru-badge. You get a stamp from every event, including Kaivarin vappu. You can also get stamps from many events for which the actual tickets have been sold out, but in which it is possible to participate as a viewer with a support ticket or buying a ticket for afterparty only. Go and follow the event organizer’s social media, because additional ticket sales is coming!

METKA’s May Day Eve is celebrated on April 30th In Kaisaniemi. There is program, music, hanging out. And toilets! there are no separate afterparty to the event at a bar, but in Kaisaniemi it is possible to spend time well into the night.
