The Exercise Day of Your Dreams, the celebration of exercise for everyone in Finland, will be held once again on May 10th! To celebrate this, Metropolia students and staff will have a chance to challenge each other in a Finnish baseball match. Come along and play yourself or cheer on your favorite team to victory!
The playful Finnish baseball match will be held on 10.5.2023 at 14-16 at Myllypuro baseball field (Myllypuro sports park, Myllytontunpolku 1, 00920 Helsinki). You don’t need any previous Finnish baseball experience to participate in the game. A positive attitude and clothing suitable for the sport and the weather are enough!

If there are more registrations than players in the team, the teams will be formed according to the order of registration. All those who have filled in the form will be informed well advance before the game if they can be included in the team.
If you can’t fit into the team or are otherwise uninspired to play yourself, spectators are more than welcome to join in too. So come along and cheer on your favorite team to victory and make the event feel like a big sports festival!
In case of bad weather, we will move indoors to the Myllypuro campus sports hall to play a substitute team sport.
Accident insurance:
METKA members are insured by the Finnish Student Sports Federation (OLL) during the event. Students who are not members of METKA are not covered by accident insurance on behalf of the organizer. Metropolia staff are covered by occupational accident insurance at the event if they apply to their superior for permission to participate.
