Students’ Mental Health Week is a campaign coordinated by Nyyti ry that aims to raise awareness of students’ mental health and build a more mental health-friendly study culture.
Student Mental Health Week will be celebrated in 2026 during week 11 (March 9–15). From now on, week 11 will be the fixed date for Student Mental Health Week. The theme of this year’s campaign is future hope.
The week will be celebrated at Metropolia’s campuses as follows:
- Myllypuro, Mon, March 9, 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
- Karamalmi, Tue, March 10, 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
- Myyrmäki, Wed, March 11, 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
- Arabia, Thu, March 12, 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
Numerous organizations are participating in Student Mental Health Week, including METKA and student associations, as well as Metropolia’s units and organizations that support well-being. There will be stands and program on campuses, and you can also earn an overall patch by completing tasks!
METKA’s highlights for the week:
- Wellbeing workshops by HyMyvillage occupational therapy students
- Puzzle break with the library
- Dream Job Workshop with Career Counsellors
- Student Advisor Gaming Corner
- The Finnish Kennel Club’s care dogs on campus
- Active break exercise with MeMove
- Building the future with LEGO bricks together with study advisors
- Math Corners during OMTV Week
