A sports equipment loaning service has been opened in the Arabia campus library. Sports equipment can be borrowed for free with the 3AMK library card, so the equipment is available for both students and staff. The loan period is two weeks.
The sports equipment is located in a white chest next to the entrance at the campus side of the library. The following sports equipment can be found in the chest:
- padel racket x 4
- padel balls, 3 per tube x
- tennis racket x 4
- tennis balls, 15 pcs. x 2
- basketball x 2
- football x 2
- beach volleyball x 2
- smashball set x 1
- pilates roller x 2
- foam roller x 2
- disc golf set, 3 different discs x 2
- mölkky game x 2
- petanque x 2
- resistance band x 2
- massage ball x 1
The sports equipment loaning service is being piloted in the Arabia campus at first. If the concept turns out to be popular, sports equipment loaning service can be disseminated into other Metropolia campuses too. Thus now is the time to make use of the service!
The sports equipment is funded by the Student Union METKA’s Metropolia on the Move project. The sports equipment loaning service is organized in cooperation with the library services.
