The general assembly of the Finnish Student Sports Federation OLL was held on November 10.-11. at Kuortane Training Center. Jani Ressi, who served as a member of METKA’s Board this year, was elected the second vice chairperson of OLL for 2022. At METKA, Ressi’s responsibilities have been events and club activities.
“It’s great to get into the OLL board. I look forward to the coming year and everything new I can learn. Thank you all for your trust!”, Ressi says.
METKA’s alumni, biotechnology and chemical engineering student Essi Lumme from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences was elected chairperson of OLL for 2022. She is currently vice chairperson of the federation. In addition to Jani Ressi, Tekla Hahl from Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences was elected second vice chairperson and Pekko Pirhonen from Moveo Sport and Well-being Services was elected a member of the board.
The general assembly approved an updated sports policy paper for OLL, which brings together the main goals of the federation. The paper takes stand, for example, the financing and equality of physical activity and the support of everyday activity.
