THE ELECTION OF THE COUNCIL OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STUDENT UNION OF METROPOLIA UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES
The Student Union of Metropolia University of Applied Sciences METKA will have the election of the Council of Representatives from October 28th till November 4th, 2020.
In the election 25 student union members and 25 deputy members will be selected to the Council of Representatives for the year 2021. Elections are held electronically from October 28th at 12 noon till November 4th at 12 noon, 2020.
All members, who have paid their membership fees before September 30th 11:59 pm are eligible to be candidates. Candidates can form electoral alliances consisting of 1-25 candidates. All alliances need to have a spokesperson who can also be from outside of the alliance. The spokesperson fills out the electoral coalition establishment form and every candidate fills out a candidate form. Electoral coalitions can form electoral rings. All documents need to be filled online by September 30th 11:59 pm.
Members, who have paid their membership fees at the latest on 25th of October 11:59 pm, are entitled to vote.
The right to vote can be checked by asking it from the METKA board member, Tekla Kosonen at vaalit@metkaweb.fi. Claims for corrections to the electoral register must be made in writing to the Election Committee to address vaalit@metkaweb.fi at the latest on October 25th 11:59 pm.
