Election announcement!
The Student Union of Metropolia University of Applied Sciences METKA will have the election of the Representative Council from October 29th 2024 12.00 noon till November 6th 2024 12.00 noon. The elections are held to elect a Student Union Representative Council from among the members of the Student Union. 25 full members and 25 deputy members will be elected for the year 2025. Elections are held via electronic voting system.
All members, who have paid their membership fees before 8.10.2024 11:59 am are eligible to be candidates. Running for candidate starts on September 17th and ends on October 8th 11.59 am.
Candidates can form electoral alliances consisting of 2-25 candidates.
Members, who have paid their membership fee at the latest on October 27th 2024 11:59 am, are entitled to vote.
Voting for the elections starts on 29.10.2024 at 12.00 noon and is open until 6.11.2024 at 12.00 noon.

The Chairmanship of the Representative Council and the METKA Election Committee are organising an open event on all Metropolia campuses where you can learn about how to get involved in the representative council and how to stand for election in the Student Union METKA Representative Council elections.
The open events will take place from 30 September to 3 October 2024.
During the events, the current Chairperson of the Representative Council will present the activities of the Council.
In addition, those interested in standing for election will have the opportunity to ask questions about the activities of the Representative Council, how to stand as a candidate, and about electoral alliances and electoral groups.
You will also have the opportunity to meet other students interested in making a difference.
You can come alone or with a friend. The event is open to anyone interested in the representative council and standing for election.

- Myyrmäki 30.9. at 16.00-17.00
- Karamalmi 1.10. at 16.00-17.00
- Myllypuro 2.10. at 16.00-17.00
- Arabia 3.10. at 14.00-15.00
