At Metropolia there are many ways to become a so-called activist. This can be tutoring, serving on the board of a student association, acting as a student representative or organising METKA club activities.

It is possible to get credits for student activities. As a rule, 5 credits can be obtained for each activity. Exceptions are a few courses where credits are awarded according to the reported time spent on the activity.

Ten courses are offered:

  • XX00FV68 Peer tutoring
  • XX00FV69 International tutoring
  • XX00FV71 Head tutoring
  • XX00FV72 Student representative activities
  • XX00FV73 Student association activities
  • XX00FV85 Leadership in a student association
  • XX00GB82 Student Union activities
  • XX00GB83 Leadership in a student union
  • XX00FV86 National influencing
  • XX00FV87 Club activities

Written assignments related to the course are carried out in Moodle. You will receive a course key once you have been selected for each position and have attended a training or start-up meeting organised by METKA.
