MetroSport is back! Töölö Sports Hall and the nearby sports field will once again be filled with sports, community spirit, and exciting new activities on September 10, 2026.

At MetroSport, you’ll get the chance to try dozens of different sports during one afternoon, challenge your friends, discover wellness organizations, and maybe even find a new hobby or community for your student life.

The event is completely free and open to everyone. By claiming a free ticket, you can secure your spot at the event.

Want an extra challenge?
You can also purchase a MetroSport Sports tour ticket and complete the event’s sportappro! By visiting at least 10 activity stations, you’ll earn the official MetroSport 2026 overall patch. A limited number of tickets are available for the appro crawl.

Arriving alone? Join MetroSport Buddy Tours!

A Buddy Tour guide is a staff member from Metropolia’s student well-being services or chaplains, who gathers a small group in the lobby to explore the event together. The idea is that no one has to be at the event alone – and you might make some new friends along the way. A Buddy Tour is for you if:

  • you are coming to MetroSport alone or would just like some company
  • you’d like to meet new students in a relaxed way
  • you want to hear more about student well-being services or chaplaincy at Metropolia

Buddy Tour groups depart from the Kisahalli lobby at:

  • 13:30 in Finnish
  • 14:00 in English
  • 14:30 in Finnish
  • 15:00 in English
  • 15:30 in Finnish
  • 16:00 in English

For each departure time, a small group of interested students is formed. First you’ll briefly get to know each other, and then you’ll visit together about six pre-selected activity points at MetroSport. After the tour you can continue at the event either together or on your own – however feels best for you.

How to find us:

  • Come to the Kisahalli lobby a little before the departure time
  • Look for Buddy Tour signs or staff with a clear identifier (e.g. a Buddy Tour badge or vest)
  • Sign up on the spot – no advance registration is needed.

The Buddy Tour is free of charge, voluntary and easy to join. You can join just as you are: you don’t need to be a super athlete, super outgoing, or “super” anything. You are warmly welcome to join a tour – let’s make sure everyone has a good time at MetroSport!
