How can I access the gym and other sports services? Why is my Kide.app membership not working and I can’t buy tickets at the member price?

Sports services are not available automatically when you join. They are reactivated each semester or academic year. If you are a new user of the services, you should first create a Zone account at zonesports.fi (Login button at the top of the page).

You can then contact METKA and we will activate the sports season for you according to the membership period you purchased. We recommend using the papy form for this. Activations are done on a first-come, first-served basis on a daily basis. In urgent cases, you can also contact the office by e-mail during office hours.

You no longer need a physical activity pass to use our sports services. All you need to do is download the free OnTheMove app. This allows you to book and sign in for your reservations. Three unstamped bookings will result in a 7-day ban in the booking system.

Kide.app

METKA members can link their membership in Kide.app to an existing account. You do not need to create a new account just to connect if you have already used Kide.app before.

Connect your membership to your Kide.app account like this:

  • Sign in to Kide.app
  • Click on “Wallet” in the menu
  • Select “Memberships” from the page
  • Click “Already acquired a membership elsewhere”
  • Select “Student Union METKA” from the menu that opens
  • Fill out the forms, and you’re done!
  • Please be specific about the format of the information you enter. The form has instructions on the format in which to enter the information.

If you are unable to link your account right now, we may not have had time to transfer your membership information to the Kide.app yet. We manually transfer membership information to Kide.app almost daily. If you have just joined, please wait a few business days and then try again.  If you are in a hurry (e.g. you need a discount on tickets for that day) you can email us and we will do our best to help during office hours.

Sometimes the link to Kide.app fails because the system has your details twice (last year’s and this year’s membership). In this case, please contact METKA.
