Do you have ideas or expertise for developing student activities or student union operations from an accessibility perspective? This working group might be perfect for you!

The Student Union of Metropolia University of Applied Sciences – METKA is launching an open call for volunteers to join the working group responsible for outlining and implementing the accessibility plan.

The application period begins on 18 February 2026 and ends on 4 March 2026. Applications will be reviewed at METKA’s board meeting on 9 March 2026. Applicants will be informed about the selection results and further practical arrangements. The call is primarily aimed at students of Metropolia.

The goals of the accessibility plan are to:

  • assess the current level of accessibility in METKA’s activities
  • identify possible barriers and areas for improvement
  • set concrete, realistic, and measurable objectives for enhancing accessibility

We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, as topics like accessibility, equality, and inclusiveness benefit greatly from varied perspectives when assessing and developing practices.
