New students; welcome to Metropolia and to join METKA’s activities! Welcome back continuing students as well!
This week, METKA is fully back at the office after a relaxing summer holiday. The most convenient way to contact METKA is by e-mail at metka@metkaweb.fi. Chat and M-piste member service points will start rolling as soon as the semester starts properly. We will inform you about the opening hours later.
METKA memberships are on sale at OMA. You can get a membership as soon as your Haka ID works and you can log in to OMA. The price for the fall semester is 30 euros and the price for the entire academic year is 52 euros. As a member, you are not only entitled to thousands of Pivo student card discounts, but also to, for example, discounted student event tickets. At the same time, you support the work done for the benefit of students.
Tutors trained by METKA will meet you on the first day. Tutors introduce new students to the wonders of studying and student life at Metropolia. However, you can familiarize yourself with Metropolia and METKA in advance with the help of the Guidebook for a New Student and Fresher’s Bingo.
