Exchange tutoring includes more individual guidance when compared to peer tutoring. As an exchange tutor, you get to help the exchange student get started in a completely new environment and it’s a good opportunity to gain experience from guidance. On top of this, exchange tutoring is a great warm-up for your own possible exchange period!
If you want, it’s possible to apply for more than one roles of tutoring at once, for example to tutor both freshers and a few exchange students. If you apply for both, you must participate in peer tutor training and the first evening of exchange tutor training. The dates of the training sessions are announced on the application form.
