The Student Union of Metropolia University of Applied Sciences METKA announces a vacancy for one (1) alternate representative to the Finnish Student Health Services FSHS for the next two-year term (1.1.2025-31.12.2026).
The election will be carried out in accordance with the rules of the Finnish Student Health Services FSHS and the Instructions on the election of representatives of the National Union of Students in Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences – SAMOK. The council consists of a minimum of 24 and a maximum of 30 members. National Union of Students in Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences – SAMOK appoints nine representatives, seven of whom are nominated by the student unions of the universities of applied sciences.
The council meets twice a year, at the spring and autumn meetings. At the spring meeting, the Board’s report and accounts are presented, among other things. The autumn meeting presents the budget and the action plan, elects the chairperson and vice-chairperson of the council, the secretary and certain members, and elects the chairperson, vice-chairperson and other members of the board.
