METKA’s study tutors support other students in their field to progress in study-related challenges, organize study circles and promote a more collaborative study culture on Metropolia’s campuses.

You can become a study tutor if you are interested in being a peer mentor, like to meet new people and can commit to leading regular study circle meetings on your campus alongside your studies. You can start as a study tutor by completing a 2,5-hour training offered by METKA, for which no previous tutoring experience is required. You will receive either 5 credits or a monetary reward, depending on your choice.

The package includes participation in the training, planning of activities and leading study circles independently, communications and agreed final assignments for METKA. You can also decide whether to run the study circles alone or with a friend, and whether to commit to the activities for one semester or one year.
