Advocacy during summer
Although both Metropolia’s students and staff are primarily on vacation during the summer months, there may still be a need for advocacy. Remember these tips:
- Be on time! If you need help before the autumn, contact METKA as soon as possible. We still have some time to solve issues with the staff.
- If problems occur during the summer, you can always contact METKA. We will answer you after the holidays in August. You can contact METKA’s advocacy by e-mail (advocacy@metkaweb.fi) or via contact form.
- You can also get started with a few guidelines: the degree regulations or study guidelines help with many issues. These documents must be followed by both students and staff, and in many cases you can check if there has been injustice from these documents. Other good guidelines are the University of Applied Sciences Act or the instructions on appeal found in OMA.
